PD and Sciatica and Vacation Day 3

Sometimes I think that my family doesn't really think that I have a medical issue.  They seem to think that I can make the Sciatica pain and the PD issues go AWAY.!!  I wish I could make them go away! They don't want it to interfere with their plans,(Either do I) Last night I had a great sleep and I always feel a bit better when I am well rested!  The girls sleep in when we are away and usually it annoys me because I want to get up and get going and not waste a day. However, now that I have PD, I am all into resting until we have to leave the room!  So I was hoping this would be a halfway decent day because I had slept a few consecutive hours the night before.

We planned to go to the Jacksonville Zoo. We thought it was a small zoo, but it was really huge.  I can't think of any animals that they didn't have there!! We did a huge amount of walking but there were plenty of places to sit.  Of course, everywhere we went, there were machines to buy food to feed the animals.  The girls and Dan also fed the giraffes($2 for a piece of a tiny branch with two leaves on it). Dan says it is all a donation to the zoo so he doesn't mind paying for the extras! We had a LOT of fun but my PD was NOT cooperating, I kept feeling like I was pitching forward while I was walking.  After 3 hours, I told Dan and the girls that I was going to go out to the car but they said they were done too. We had  seen a sky diving simulator place on the ride to the zoo and the girls wanted to sky dive.  I thought it would be perfect because I could just SIT and watch them fly! However, the place was booked solid so they couldn't do it! We drove around Jacksonville and enjoyed the scenery.  We ate at a delicious steak house for dinner(ALWAYS ABOUT THE FOOD) The night before we ate at Red Lobster because Olivia and Olya LOVE seafood! They are NOT cheap dates!
I was washed out after the long day at the zoo so I sort of collapsed on the bed and read my book and rested for the rest of the evening.  The girls had their own room and they were also tired so they watched movies. I thought I would sleep well but Parkinson's, always in control, did not let that happen. I slept maybe a total of two hours that night! I can't figure out how it happens that some nights PD allows me to sleep for a few hours on and off and other nights I just lay there and stare at the ceiling!
