LESS PAIN WOW Gabapentin to the Rescue

Today and yesterday I had less pain!! It was so wonderful!!!!!!! I still am in pain but I could walk around and go shopping with Dan yesterday.  I decided to go back on Gabapentin because I just could not function without it! I am only taking half of what I took before but it is enough to take the extremely painful edge off!! I feel like a new woman!!! I really tried to get off of those meds but I just can't take the full-on pain! Until I get evaluated for an Ablation I am going to stay on the half doses of Gabapentin.
My Amaryllis bulbs are blooming!! I am totally amazed that these bulbs grow without any water!! It's the little things in life that bring the most enjoyment!!

I was able to get quite a bit done. I packed my suitcase for our trip, I cleaned the bathroom and the kitchen counters. Usually I can only do very small cleaning jobs because I couldn't stand on my leg too long and my balance is usually way off! But I got  a lot done today. Later in the afternoon my sister and I went to Macy's because I wanted to buy a new coat.  I think I did too much all day because I could barely stand long and I had trouble with my balance.  I didn't find a coat but my sister was talking about getting a cape. I started to think that a cape would be a good thing because it would go on faster and I usually have a big problem trying to get my second arm in my coats because I have to lean to the side.  I have a really difficult time putting my arm in the sleeves!  I am always losing my balance when I try to put on my coat. I normally have to lean against a wall or sit down and even that is difficult. When I got home, I went online to Macys a a cape! Cejon Lux Fleece Cape With Faux-Fur Trimand I ordered a black cape!!
When you have PD, EVERYTHING takes a long time to do! Everyday activities that I use to be able to do in 10-15 minutes  now takes me close to an hour! The fifteen minute shower is a thing of the past! I use to be able to clean most of my house in a few hours, now it takes me a few hours per room!

I had posted a photo of my two adopted daughters from Ukraine on a Facebook adoption page for children adopted from Ukraine and/or Russia!  Lots of people were posting Christmas photos of their children so I also posted one of my tow girls! The manager/administrator of the Facebook page messaged me and asked me if she could send the photo to their national organization. I said yes, it would be fine as long as she didn't put any identifying info with the photo.  The director of the National organization messaged me and asked me for a photo of the girls when they were younger and send it to her. The girls' photos will be in the May issue of the magazine! That is exciting!
