Today the pain was not as bad as it has been!
Today was painful but less than yesterday. I was able to do my PT exercises. I am hoping this keeps up!! My sciatica really hurt but I forced myself to go out shopping. I had to use my walker but at least I was out and about. When I am alone, I feel safer having my walker. My Parkinson's has started to make me feel like I am falling forward, it's a very strange feeling. My PT told me that happens to many people with Parkinson's. She told me that pain is also part of Parkinson's, I didn't know that either! I dropped Olivia off at work and then I went to CVS. I got a bunch of baby items(baby shampoo, baby wipes, rattles, teethers, etc) to put in a basket with an adorable stuffed bear. When I got home, I filled the basket and wrapped it with cellophane paper and made the bows.
I keep saying that I am NOT going to buy any more baby stuff but I keep buying more. I also bought several baby gift bags for my niece Natasha's baby shower next month. Olivia and I had already purchased the cutest baby girl outfits! They are just the most adorable little baby girl outfits! Now that is finished and I am glad. Hopefully, it will stop me from buying more baby things!! The busier I stay, the less I feel my pain.
June is a busy month for us! We are also going camping for a few days at the end of the month sometime. Olivia is going down the shore for a few days with Frankie's family. I will send a basket of food. Last year I sent hot dogs and beans, hamburgers, and dessert. Frankie told me that his mother likes her hamburgers charcoal black, she is a woman after my own heart!! I like all of my meat very well done!! I think I will send the Makings for Tacos this year.
I also bought a gift and card for my friend's birthday party. I made the bow and wrapped the gift! I just need to get a gift card to add to the birthday card and then I am finished with that task!! I also need to buy a gift for Adam and one for Renee because both of their birthdays are this month! I am thinking of just giving them gift cards from TD bank! Then they can buy whatever they want. I also have to buy a gift for Olivia's birthday next month. I don't go crazy on my kid's birthdays. I usually give them $50 and a few small gifts!
I think that Adam's family is coming on Father's Day weekend. That is when we will celebrate Adam's birthday. I know that Adam is planning to take his father and brothers golfing on Sat., not sure what the girls are all doing. We are all going to brunch together on Father's Day at Renee and Adam's country club. I thought Adam's nieces would like to come here to swim and then we could have a barbecue but Renee doesn't know how long they are staying on Sunday.
Olivia wants to have a barbecue for her birthday. That is fine with me. She wants to invite a few of my friends but I don't want her to do that. Even if I tell them not to bring gifts, they will so I don't want her to invite them. She wants to invite Frankie's family and I am fine with that. They are a really nice family and I like them a lot! I was going to invite them for July 4th for a barbecue but it is fine if she prefers to invite them to celebrate her birthday with us.
