Parkinson's and busy weekend

This was my daughter Renee's birthday weekend as well as Father's Day.
It seems like my Parkinson's is at bay when I have a lot to do! That is so wonderful. I saw myself in a huge mirror in a ladies restroom and I can see that I lean forward when walking.   Renee's in-laws came for her birthday celebration and stayed for the weekend for Father's Day! They are just the nicest people ever!  I feel like it was a delicious  food fest!  I don't know why I think that those calories don't count because they DO!!  Joe and Kat came Fri night with their kids and we played Telestrations!! My granddaughters LOVED the game!! Sat morning the girls swam, poor  Olivia had to go to work!
The rest of us headed to Renee's birthday party at a brewery that also had outside games.
Adam's brothers both came for the weekend! I had to take and use my walker for a little while. Whenever I think about my walker, I NEED IT NEARBY! I am always afraid of falling. Adam's niece Gia adores Olivia and Olya!  She is very sweet and very funny and very outgoing!
It was so nice to see all of Renee's high school friends. I always loved them,
they are all successful and doing well. Her friend Elaine(far right), who was a bridesmaid in Renee's wedding is now engaged to one of Adam's best friends who was a groomsman in the wedding.
Miriam, Renee, Kristen, Elaine
Renee and Elaine met in first grade! They are all such wonderful young women, the last one in the group  of four to get married is Elaine!  The brewery had an outside area that had lots of gravel/stones outside, I had trouble moving around on there with my walker. I spent most of the time on the inside of the party! I think that Renee had about 50 people at the party.  We had a great time EATING(always about the food) and chatting! After the birthday party Olivia and I got our nails done! I usually go to the same place and they know that I have a disability so they always help me up and down and push my chair in(I am a great tipper!)  The girls swam again. Gabby and Kaylee are great swimmers, and Gia also came to swim.

Gia fits in wherever she goes! Then we all went out to dinner at an Italian restaurant nearby. Renee worked at the restaurant when she was in college. Dan and I stopped to get her a cake! Even though Renee doesn't want the cake around to eat, everyone LOVES to have people sing to them!  The waiter, who worked with Renee many years ago, also brought out   a huge plate of cannolis for her

The food was delicious, too delicious, too many calories!!  I was feeling really tired after the dinner but I tried to forget about being tired and plodded forward! I could always tell when my meds are starting to wear off! I get this overwhelming sense of tiredness! I try to wait as long as I can between taking my meds. But there comes a point in the day that I really need them.  Olivia had invited some of her high school
friends over to swim in the evening!
