HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY TWO BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTERS

Yesterday was my daughter Olya's 21st birthday party.
We had about 40 guest altogether.

It was such an effort to put the party together but while everyone was here, I totally forgot about my Parkinson's and my painful sciatica. Maybe I should entertain every weekend to get a break from my sciatica pain!  Every once in a while my sciatica would rear it's ugly head but for the most part, I was too busy to even think about it! I think we forget about ourselves, including our pain, when we are doing for others.  I really wanted Olya to have a lovely birthday so I had to work through the pain to accomplish that! I had a wonderful time because I was hanging with all of the people I love.  It seemed like everyone had a good time, I hope they did! Today is Olya's real birthday and it is also my deceased daughter Amy's 37th birthday, she died at age 18.
Today I am remembering and feeling all of the grief and painful sciatica pain. I had to use my walker most of the morning.  Hopefully, I won't need it when we go to the cemetery or out to dinner to celebrate again!
So many people brought so much food, it was an eating fest!!! And, since so much was disposable clean-up went very quickly!  I was glad about that because I was hurting while standing at the sink.  Dan took over and washed most of my serving pieces! Olya went to buy an APPLE WATCH! Everyone was way TOOOO generous with money and gifts!!! She got clothes, jewelry, Kate Spade make-up, Ukrainian candy,  a Vera Bradley Penn State clutch, and lots of money!  She usually saves all of her money so I let her use some of her birthday money to get the watch! When Dan and Olya get back, we will go to the cemetery to wish Amy a Happy Birthday.
