Handling Positivity and Dealing with Parkinson's

I decided to go on a negative cleanse for a week. I won't say anything negative about anyone(except for Trump) and I won't listen to anything negative. I am looking forward to a wonderful week! It is hard to remain positive when dealing with sciatica and Parkinson's but I am determined to try it for a week! I guess I will have to include myself with the negative cleanse and not write about the stupid things that happen to me!  I am going to focus on the positive. I am going to write ten things that I am grateful for other than my family and friends.  I am glad that my daughters got a ton of food at the Russian Market so that I don't have to shop or cook for a few days.  I am happy that both of my daughters are working and I can get some housecleaning done and then sit and read my book. I am supposed to keep my foot elevated so reading is the perfect activity today!  I am so grateful that it rained yesterday and I don't have to go out and water my flowers!! I am thankful that I LOVE the book I am reading titled Their Eyes Were Watching God. I am grateful that I lost two pounds!! I am so thankful that I just have to push the button on my Roomba and I can get my entire downstairs vacuumed in a few hours! It is running right now and I love to hear the sound of it vacuuming! Dan finds the sound loud and annoying! Well, he bought it for me!  I am grateful for the water bottle that my best friend Priscilla gave me because it keeps the water cold for a long time! Then I don't have to walk as much on my broken toes or with my off balance Parkinson's brain!!  I am grateful that I got a bag of baby shower decorations on Freecycle! My sister is having a shower for my niece next month but she is having a girl and what I picked up was really for having a boy, but I will save them or lend them to anyone having a boy!! I am thankful for having available assistive devices(shower bars, walkers, shower chair, etcImage result for shower chair images I like to remain as independent as possible!  I have ALWAYS been fiercely independent so needing help is difficult for me.  I worked full time most of my life and I raised five children  And last, but certainly not least, I am thankful for ALL of my blog readers!! Some days I have about 80 readers and other days I have over 300 readers!
Today my friend Mary called me to ask about a State Park that Dan and I have stayed at! I told her that I remember it being really nice! I hope it still is, I don't want her to go there and say to herself.."what was Colleen thinking?" I called Dan and he said it was a great park so I am happy about that.  I saw on Facebook Marketplace that someone who lives close to me has baby shower decorations for free. I messaged her and it turns out that we knew each other from PTO years ago! I picked up the shower decor and will give it to my sister. I am excited about my niece's shower!
