ARE YOU KIDDING ME??????
When I first wake up in the morning, I am usually out of it for a few minutes! However, pain brings me to wide awake in a few seconds. On Friday morning, the throbbing was so painful that I just couldn't believe it!! I thought I was way over the intense pain. I guess spinal stenosis has a mind of it's own! My friend Diane also got a shot for herniated discs over a week ago and nothing has changed for her, she is still in pain too!I was about 40% less pain a few days ago but now I am 100% pain back to where I started.
Friday Olivia and Olya and I went to get our nails done because tomorrow is Olya's 21st Birthday Party!!! How did she get to be 21 so quickly?? Her real birthday is June 2, the same day as Amy's birthday. Amy died at age 18, she would be 37 this year. We thought Olya's birthday was Feb 6 because Ukraine writes dates with the day first, then the month. On her paperwork her birth date was listed as 2/6, but they put the day first, then the month! We were just shocked when the translator told us her birthday was June 2nd!!Olivia wants to get a tattoo in Roman Numerals with the date June 2 because it is Amy's and Olya's birthday and it is also the day that Olivia arrived in the United States!! I am NOT into tattoos but Olivia is almost 22 so she can do as she wants with her body. She graduated from Cosmetology school. We won't pay tuition for our kids unless they wait to finish to get tattoos.
It is only a little after 6 pm and I can't wait to go to bed, that is the only time that I have NO PAIN at all!
It's a new morning and I feel a little better. I am trying to figure out what it is that makes my sciatica better or worse but for the life of me, I can't figure it out!! My friend Madelyn and her daughter Yana, who was adopted from Olivia's orphanage, came over last night and hung out. They are staying in the area from out of town, they came to town for Olya's birthday party today. Yana has grown into a beautiful, confident young woman! I was so happy to see the young woman she has become!
