Disney, Sciatica, and Parkinsons, Final Part

We went to Hollywood Studios on our last full day at Disney.
My sciatica was in full bloom. I had to hold onto something to be in a photo!

I thought I might get one day reprieve but that never happened. Dan had to push me in a wheelchair to and from the bus.  I never knew that Disney had wheelchairs available to use in that way.  They even have workers who go get the wheelchairs at the bus locations!   I did my PT exercises religiously everyday even when I had awful pain.  I thought it might help.  I had to rent a scooter everyday we were away.  The weather predicted rain in the late afternoon. I had purchased ponchos for everyone but they chose not to take their ponchos with them,  I took mine  It down poured in the late afternoon and I put on my poncho. Fortunately, they ran under an overhang and stayed fairly dry. I went in a Frozen sing along. All of the little kids were so cute singing along at the top of their lungs!  Dan and the girls went on the Tower of Terror and the Aerosmith rocking roller coaster.  Thanks but NO THANKS for me on those rides!!  I just sat on my scooter and enjoyed watching the people!  We had made dinner reservations in that park at a 50's type restaurant. Most restaurants turned people away if they didn't  have reservations!  The interior was so cute.  There were copper molds on the walls and fifties TV shows playing on old time television sets!  The Donna Reed Show was on the black and white TV across from us. We had to call our waiter Uncle Chuck!
Our newly found relative!

When her parents finished their meal, they said to us...see you at the family reunion this year!!

Uncle Chuck caught Dan with his elbows on the table again and came back with a handmade napkin hat for Dan to wear!!!The hat said Elbow Boy with an arrow pointing down at Dan. The food on the menu was typical fifties fare!I was just fine sitting down but in terrible pain when I had to get up and walk back outside to my scooter.

Here is my $6.00 pretzel snack!
I guess everything with a Mickey face costs more!

Olya wanted to go meet Chewbacca. I didn't even know who he was!!  (Chewbacca is the loyal friend and first mate of Han Solo. .A legendary Wookiee warrior and Han Solo's co-pilot aboard the Millennium Falcon, Chewbacca was part of a core group of Rebels who restored freedom to the galaxy. Known for his short temper and accuracy with a bowcaster, Chewie also has a big heart -- and is unwavering in his loyalty to his friends.)

We walked into the room where he was and all of a sudden he appeared!  It was a little scary!! During the day, on different outdoor stages, there were a few acts put on by the Star Wars characters!  A huge crowd gathered to watch each performance!! I am not a huge Star Wars fan but Dan and the girls are huge fans and knew all of the characters!
Everywhere we went someone would yell to Dan...WE ARE..because he had on a Penn State hat and shirt!!

First Day

Second Day

Third Day
Star Wars Storm Troopers

Evening Art of Animation Light Show

We had a great vacation but my favorite part was on the train so I could just sit down!! Today I had PT with my in home physical therapist. I had to take a physical test to see if I improved at all, I barely did improve.  I went from 46% mobility to 48% mobility. I asked her why I wasn't really improving because I have been doing all the exercises.  She thinks it is because I haven't had the correct diagnosis.  She thinks I have foraminal stenosis.  I am hoping that the shot I get on Wed will relieve some of my sciatica pain.
