Disney, Parkinson's, and Sciatica, PART II
I thought my second day at Disney might be easier but it was not!! The first day we went to Epcot and the second day we went to Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom is the most visited park and it was absolutely mobbed. I had gotten fast passes for Dan and he girls to Space Mountain and Splash Mountain. I just sat on my scooter and enjoyed the fantastic weather! I chatted with people wherever I sat. I met a woman who lived not far from us, maybe an hour or so!! She told me that she did not like fast rides, neither do I! It was pretty early in the morning but she told me that she was going back to the hotel because the park was too crowded for her. She said that she came to enjoy her vacation and she was not enjoying it at Magic Kingdom. I really didn't think it was that bad but to each their own, I guess! I just wished I could walk around normally. I hated being on a scooter. And I hated that my Parkinson's acted up. I started to freeze up, even though I had taken my Levodopa. Maybe the hot weather had something to so with it. I didn't tell Dan or the girls because I didn't want them to know or to feel bad for me. I had some Oxycodone pills left from a previous condition, so I took half a tablet when the pain was unbearable and then I was fine!
