WE ARE!!!!
We all went to the Blue and White game on Sat. Dan's two brothers and their adult kids usually attend and we have so much fun together!

I just LOVE my sister-in-law Pennie. She is the sweetest person I have ever met! We all met in a parking lot so that we could caravan into the tailgating so that we could park next to each other Renee and Adam were also there so they came over to tailgate with us too!! Pennie and Larry, one of Dan's brothers brought a ton of food! With the Fleds, it is ALWAYS about the food!!! Dan was in charge of bringing coleslaw, the hot dogs and buns and grill.
Krista's little girl was dressed in a PSU cheerleader outfit and she looked so so adorable!
He brought the grill, lighter, charcoal, hot dogs, buns and condiments BUT he forgot to bring the charcoal lighter fluid! It would be impossible to get out from the tailgating and go buy it. He walked up and down a few aisles but most people had grills that were lit with propane so they didn't have lighter fluid! Renee took the hot dogs over and grilled them on one of her friend's grills. Olya and her boyfriend Matt are students at PSU, and Olivia attended PSU for one year. Renee, Dan, me, his brother Larry and his brother Bob, Larry's daughter Krista and her husband Pete are all PSU alumni! Pennie always says our kids would bleed blue and white if they were ever cut open!
Pennie and I are not football lovers so we stayed at the tailgate and chatted while everyone else went to the game! I also wasn't sure if I could walk all the way up to the stadium and then up into the bleachers. A young man, probably a student, came up to us and told us he was thirsty and asked for a bottle of water which Pennie gave to him right away. He kept saying how thirsty and hungry he was so I offered him a hot dog which he readily accepted! Then sweet Pennie offered him chips, potato salad, etc and he loaded his plate. Later Renee asked a passing student to take a group photo of all of us and she did. She and her two friends asked us if they could have hot dogs which we gladly gave to them too! We had tons of food. We had two trays of deviled eggs which Olivia got at Wegmans, Pennie made the most delicious home made chocolate chip cookies, and she made potato salad. The recipe was from our mother-in-law Bernice! Our table was loaded with food! Krista brought delicious fresh fruit and watermelon slices. After our tailgate, we headed back to the cabin. Later we cooked hamburgers on the grill outside and had a campfire. Dan stopped and got two bundles of wood at a local supermarket.

The place was mobbed! There were so MANY people at the tailgating! The cops took two students out on stretchers and into a
an ambulance. I think they were both so drunk that they passed out! There were tons of port a potties but huge lines at each one!! I used my walker to go to one up a hill. When I was in line, two young girls came over and told me where another port a potty was with a shorter line! So I headed up a gravel road with my walker! That was the only time I used my walker on Sat,. I didn't really need it but I was afraid to be too far away without it!I just LOVE my sister-in-law Pennie.
