Packing for the cabin
Tomorrow we are leaving for the PSU Blue and White game!
The event is a favorite of Penn Staters looking to finally escape the cold of winter and enjoy their Nittany Lions for the conclusion of spring practice. Attendance for the game often ranges between 60,000-80,000. It is important to check on the weather forecast before leaving your home to pack accordingly.
We are staying in a cabin in a state park.As long as there is heat and bathrooms with hot water and showers, I am good to go! I hope I can use my walker in the cabin if I need it, but I am more hoping that I don't need to use it! I finally finished packing an my PT showed up for in-home PT. I was just so fatigued when she came, I felt like I hadn't slept for a week! I did the exercises half- heartedly! After she left, I slept for over two hours. Some days Parkinson's makes me so fatigued and there is nothing I can do to get out of being so tired. I never ever use to take naps!! I hate when that happens, I felt groggy the rest of the afternoon. After Dan came home and ate dinner, we went food shopping for the cabin. Somehow I plan to only buy healthy food but my cart winds up with some junk food in it. I bought donuts for breakfast, and cookies for dessert. I did buy lots of bananas and clementines! I did my PT exercises but basically it was a wasted tired day for me. I finally got some energy but it was evening time by then. I will probably be up most of the night because I screwed up my sleep schedule! We will pick Frankie up from school tomorrow and then head out. I am excited to go away. I hope I don't need to use my walker but emotionally I need to have it because I am afraid I might need it and then what will I do??
I am just glad to go away for the weekend so that I can sit and read my book for the library book club. My friend Adriana is going to join the library book club, I messaged the librarian and she is going to get a book for her!!
I am going to try to go to Rock Steady Boxing next week. I think I miss the class!! Maybe I am starting to like exercise but that will be something brand new for me! I use to go to Planet Fitness two or three times a week but I hated it, I just did it so I didn't get any heavier and my family doc told me to start exercising a few years ago. I use to meet my friend Roe and the gym or my sister and we would walk on the treadmill and chat and that made the time go so much faster! After I got sciatica, I stopped going and that as just about a year ago!

Tailgating:
There are few places as fun and unique experience to enjoy a cold drink and burger than outside of Beaver Stadium. The tailgating grounds form a ring around the stadium. To get more info visit our tailgating article.
The Blue-White Game:
The annual spring game is the last of 15 organized practices for the football program during the spring semester and the first opportunity for Nittany Lion fans to see how the team is coming along. With admission to the stadium being complimentary, Blue-White weekend is an excellent opportunity to introduce your family to the brand and atmosphere of Penn State FootballWe are staying in a cabin in a state park.As long as there is heat and bathrooms with hot water and showers, I am good to go!
