Happy Easter Amy and Decent day with Sciatica and Parkinson's

HAPPY EASTER AMY!
Dan and I went to the cemetery today.  We wanted to take Amy's gifts from Debbie. Dan packed lunch so he could eat with Amy.  We sat on folding chairs at her grave site. The purple butterfly flowers, the purple stick flower, and the little red Easter basket are all from my friend Debbie. I think the little rabbits on the ledge and the white bunny  are from Debbie last year. I hope the deer don't eat the flowers,  I don't think they eat either of the flowers we left for her. Holidays are so sad when one of your children is deceased. I miss Amy all of the time but holidays seem to intensify the pain and the missing and the heartache.  Dan and I went to the farm market and bought flowers for Amy, Renee, and Adam's mom Jeannie.  She is so sweet. I am so glad that Renee has wonderful in-laws! I wish they lived closer to us. Adam's brother Dan  and his kids are coming on Sat. to go to a sports event in the city and Renee and Adam are going with them.  Dan can take the flowers back to his and Adam's mom. We are looking forward to hanging out with Adam's brother Dan and his little girls when we go to Disney!
The cemetery looks so beautiful, it is all decorated for the holiday.! There is a beautiful tree next to Amy's grave.  I am planning to cut down a small branch with flowers to put on my table for Easter dinner. That might sound weird to some people, but if you are a bereaved parent it is sort of normal.
My sciatica hurts but it is not getting worse. And I am so thankful for that! I think it is the same as yesterday, and that is a good thing!  I got five steroid shots in my right buttocks near my piriformis muscle. I only went to the chiropractor once this week.  I hope my doc is willing to give them to me again,  I feel like I would feel so much better if I got a second round of steroids! There are probably some rules about how many shots one can get ina year.
