FATIGUED!!!!!

Today I was so fatigued!! I can't stand being so tired. I never thought of myself as an old lady but that is now my description.  I never envisioned myself walking with a walker, but I have to do that now. I need to accept my new normal but I am still rallying against it. I don't want to have Parkinson's but I know I do.  Some parts of the day, and some entire days, Parkinson's wins but I will never let it win entirely! I was driving today and looked at a young woman walking and then jogging. I was thinking to myself, I use to be able to do that without even thinking about it!  Year ago I watched a documentary about a young man who was a quadriplegic.  I remember him saying, "I wish I could do all the things I use to complain about doing." He said how he had hated to mow the lawn and at that point would love to mow the lawn or take out the trash or do the dishes! For some reason, that stuck with me and I was always grateful that I could count on my body to do what it was supposed to do. Now, I don't have that. I am grateful that I can still walk with a walker, it would be terrible to not be able to walk at all or drive.
My sciatica is back with a vengeance!!What is up with that? I thought I had it almost conquered.  I went to the chiropractor today so it is not as bad as it was but it still is an 8+ on a scale of 1-10.  I did get the laser deep tissue therapy today and I always feel better for a day or two but that thing is so expensive!!  I think I pay about $65 a treatment. After my appointment I went and met my friends for lunch.  I just love these friends.  We all "get" each other because we have all lost our precious children.  I got home and finished paying for our Disney vacation.  I also bought our Disney Park tickets.  We are meeting Adam's brother Dan and his two little girls for dinner the first night we get there.  We get there in the very late afternoon so I think we will meet them at Disney Springs. I love Adam's family. I am so glad that Renee married into such a nice family.  I wish they lived closer.  We should pick a holiday like Easter or July 4th and spend it together.  Renee and Adam should host it!!!
I am going to try a drumming class that my friend told me about. I think it is an upper body workout and it is free for AARP insurance members. I start in-home PT next week! I hope I don't fall asleep right after the PT!
