Another Really Good day

Last night I didn't want to go to sleep. I had such a good Parkinson's day and didn't want it to end! I was afraid I would wake up today and have difficulty walking and lots of tremors, and lots of sciatica pain!  That didn't happen.  I had a really good Parkinson's Day!!! I didn't use my walker again all day!  I have to remember to try NOT to lean forward when sitting or walking. The PT told me that I didn't move my arms when I walk. I never did that unless I was on the treadmill and trying to get my heart rate up!! I have to watch other people walk and see if they swing their arms! (Arm swing in human bipedal walking is a natural motion wherein each arm swingswith the motion of the opposing leg. Swinging arms in an opposing direction with respect to the lower limb reduces the angular momentum of the body, balancing the rotational motion produced during walking) I keep trying to sit straighter in the chair and walk straighter. Parkinson's people have a posture issue!

Today Dan and I went to the library, CVS. and the cemetery. I am trying to get out of the house and move around everyday. I cooked ribs and Olivia and Frankie had dinner with us.  It was nice! I edited Olya's rough draft paper for her class.  I am so glad that is done!  My friend told me about a drumming class that I will try to attend this week.  I found a class called chair yoga. If anyone wants to go with me, let me know.
